Susan Taylor

Of Counsel

Susan Taylor is a litigation attorney who has been licensed for over 27 years.  Susan is currently Of Counsel at Bennett Injury Law, a personal injury plaintiff's law firm that represents individuals in 18-Wheeler and Commercial crashes, Wrongful Death, Traumatic Brain Damage, Motor Vehicle Crashes, and Workplace Injuries.

Susan's early career consisted of supporting small firms and sole practitioners in the Dallas area with their appellate needs and litigation caseloads, meeting their specific research and writing needs on a case-by-case basis. Following a hiatus to start a family, Susan returned to the full-time practice of law as an associate at a high-volume plaintiffs' personal injury firm, gaining valuable pre-litigation experience to supplement her litigation experience.

Susan’s background includes:

  • Civil appeals
  • Commercial litigation
  • Premises liability
  • Personal injury pre-litigation and litigation

Susan also has experience in property law, construction law, workers' compensation, franchisor/franchisee disputes, pharmaceutical injury, and bankruptcy cases.

Along with her wealth of experience in assisting attorneys across the state with federal and state court appeals, she brings to Bennett Injury Law her talented writing skills and her love for finding the needle in the haystack as she tackles legal research topics and motions practice in state court litigation.

"The best part about my practice is that I get to use my law degree and experience to help diverse clients with their equally diverse needs, and I find that immensely fulfilling. The second-best part is that my appellate practice allows me to work in all areas of civil litigation and help smart lawyers represent their clients more effectively. I enjoy new and exciting challenges to look forward to every day." — Susan Taylor
